Gender Profile Field Added!

Do to popular request we have now added a "gender" choice to profiles. Tired of everyone thinking you're female even after you've posted about your beard woes? Everyone thinks you are a guy, although you've made 7 posts about how you only date man 6 inches taller than you? Then this new profile addition is for you.

Wow! that sounds great! How do I set this up?
Go to "My controls" ->Edit Profile Info
Then go the the bottom of the page, select your gender
and click update

If you decide you prefer to be mysterious, your gender will not be listed.

I just looked for it but didn't see it. Anyway, I think people realize I'm male. It's just a few members whose profiles are ambiguous that can be confusing--e.g. what gender is a laptop?

Yes, it does and I just added my gender, as well as my level of observance--Modern Hasidative--to my profile.

why does it have to say gender: male isnt that redundant sorta? its an extra word! it doesnt need to say gender. also, can it say dude and dudette instead of male and female? i think an option should be confused. we gotta apeal to the public. sunny.gif

It'd be interesting if the "subtitles" under members' names would reflect the gender they've selected. (I.e., female members' subtitles would include "masmida," "rebbetzin," "gedolah hador," etc.)
