Hashkafah.com is currently running an older version of IPB software. We are hoping to upgrade to 2.1.1 from 2.0.4 in the VERY near future.
What does this mean for you? This means that the board will become 'fresh,' meaning everything will be back to the default. Any new smilies that have been added might be gone. The little pips by everyone's poster status might disappear. The bar at the very top might be gone. Etc. Anything ever changed from the default will probably be affected. But we hope to have things running smoothly and bug-free as soon as possible. Regarding the server, we know everyone's having difficulties with the many down times. This isn't only affecting you, it's affecting everyone else, includind the mods and admins. This is also going to be addressed in the very near future. Thank you for being able to stick it out, even with all the problems! |

Do the warnings also go back to the defaulted 0%?

Yep, we're now on 2.1.4 Yep to me or to Henrietta about the warnings. Nothing fits on my screen anymore and I need to keep its resolution at 600*800... -------------------- Many people wish they could change their life, when all they really need to do is change their attitude towards life. - Sharon

That's odd, on my screen everything looks the same. -------------------- ...a Beis Yaakov education is like fabric softener for the brain. -Grend123

Yep, we're now on 2.1.4 And the IPB logo is the new h.com logo? And don't forget to put the donate button back up on the bottom B) Yep, we're now on 2.1.4 Yep to me or to Henrietta about the warnings. Nothing fits on my screen anymore and I need to keep its resolution at 600*800... IMHO, the warning levels would be what they were when they made the changes. Some of my read posts were marked unread but only a few, so I can't imagine why warning levels should be drastically different. It runs via database, and it's not like the database content is brand new... hmm, interesting, if you have 2 posts in a row, they get merged together as one post instead of 2 separate ones... also, i HATE the fact that I now have to scroll down to find the submit post button. is this easily adaptable? -------------------- When you try to make a statement, all you're really doing is raising questions.

warnings are same as before. I can vouch for that.
-------------------- My dog doesn't lick his own butt. He doesn't eat poop or step in it. I'll concede that he does smell other dogs' butts and he does lick "himself." I'd prefer it if he doesn't lick me right after that, so I employ a few minutes of buffer time between licking other things and me and I try to get him to drink some water too. - VLG

If it doesn't, I'll give H five bucks. If it does, I'm sure H will give me five bucks. Right?
