Having seen this bit of news : 'Miracle' Woman Survives Internal Decapitation in Car Crash
I was immediately reminded of the following gemora (shabbat 107b): And the Lord shall take away from thee all sickness....Samuel said: This refers to the wind. Samuel follows his views, for he said: All [illness] is caused by the wind. I was thinking of King Charles who was beheaded by Cromwell. They reatached his head afterwards out of respect but it was too late ....
