1. Why does the Chabad siddur have "al" in brackets in the concluding berachah as in "Yehalelucha H' E-lokeinu (al) kol ma'asecha"? Why doesn't the siddur take a stand one way or another? How's a Lubavitcher to choose or are both versions equally valid and some rivers flow this way and some rivers flow that way?

Maybe they are davka showing NOT to say it, and if they didn't put it at all people would assume it is a mistake...... -------------------- [/flirting]

I think maybe cause Nusech Ari does say it while the Baal HaTanya did not

I think maybe cause Nusech Ari does say it while the Baal HaTanya did not Alternatively, it is a "Hago" from the Tzemach Tzedek on the siddur. -------------------- One Nation - One Land - One Torah
