We've installed a module on the site to increase our rankings on search engines. This module allows the search engines to index key words relevant to what people are searching for online. This will boost Hashkafah.com to rank higher when the information people are looking for is available on this site.
This 'SEO software' has changed the way links appear in your address bar when you access a topic or post. There are actually MANY things that this software does which will be to extensive to elaborate here. One thing you should look out for and not be alarmed about is our post stats. Last week we had about one million posts and this software includes a multiplier which is set to "2" - which doubles what our post stats appear on the bottom of the site. We believe that the designers of the code instituted this to make a site appear more attractive to a visitor who is considering joining. We MAY take advantage of this in the near future. However, we'll be considering the proper hashkafah in doing so. Right now our posts stats will remain doubled for testing purposes and as we choose how to take advantage of all the features of the software. Thank you. -------------------- Hashkafah.com: Think for Yourself™

this forum has been taken over by a bunch of punk kids who are pseudo-intellectual wannabe's with a chip on thier shoulder because they think they are frum, when they have no idea on what it means to be a True-Torah Jew. --adiel Why do your own thinking when someone you like has done it for you already? --Moshi I'm putting my money on Xi. --Rachel8 |
