Have any of you ever heard of having a tiny bump in your eye, which is clear, kind of like a bubble, a bit bigger than a poppy seed but smaller than a sesame seed. (on the white part of your eye)
It comes every morning in the same spot in the eye and its extremely irritating, feels like there is a hair in my eye. It slowly, goes away as the day progresses and I can't feel or see it anymore. By the time I go to sleep there is only the tiniest bit of a wrinkle in the spot. Then the next morning its back again, full and annoying.
Its espc noticeable if I'm very tired or my eyes are drier than usual.
I asked my regular doctor and he had no clue. I went to an eye doctor and he couldn't see it with his fancy equipment, but even from descriptions had never heard of it. But every time I look in the mirror I can see it and to make sure I'm not crazy I had my brother look at it and he was able to see it perfectly. I tried googling and I can't find anything similer. I'm at my wits end.

What is it? Have any of you ever had it? I've had it for about 6 months now and it hasn't gone away.

might be the formation of a sty. Is this in the lid or in the actual eye?
It might also be a cyst. Does it affect your vision at all?
I am no eye doctor- but if this really bothers you, see a second opinion.

ETA: do you wear contacts? It could be just an abrasion of your cornea. I had that- increases when I am tired and it could be that you tore it causing a slight kind of 'crack'. If that sounds right, do NOT wear contacts and make sure to keep your eyes lubricated

It's might be a Milia

ETA: I reread your description and it seems like it's actually on your eye, and not eyelid. Go to an ophthalmologist if you're concerned.

I think I once had something like that. I held a warm compress on it for a while and it went away.

I would call an opthamologist immediately. I would never play around with something funny about my eyes.

Thanks for the replys everyone. Its located on the white of my eye not eyelid, (so it doesn't seem to be a cyst or a sty, or even milia. Unless can you get those on your actual eye? ) and no it doesn't interfere with vision. I did go to an eye doctor, who had no idea what it was. It doesn't seem too alarming but it does drive me crazy.

I do wear contacts and an abrasion of the cornea makes kind of sense. Maybe its a tiny tear , which fills with fluid overnight but drains away by day. Cuz yes I do feel it when i am more tired, and when my eyes are more dry.
But wait- does that mean can't wear contacts again, EVER? Cuz I don't wear them everyday, but i do wear them occasionally and it doesn't bother me when i do. The tiny bubble is in the outer corner of my eye, and the contact doesn't touch it.

Sometimes tiny specks of makeup get in my eye, could that have caused it?

Why don't you go to an opthalmologist? It could ch"v be something very dangerous; your eye and your vision is not something to play guessing games about.

I'm telling you this happened to me.

If it is an abrasion- it looks like a tiny cut. No- you just shouldn't wear them until your eye heals. My Dr said 2 weeks. Make sure to use drops. If you ever sleep in them- that could also cause it. No the makeup wouldn't "tear" your cornea. It's a lot tougher than that. It's most likely from your contact. Just keep your eyes moist without irritants. You should be fine. If your dr didn't seem to concerned and you still are- seek a second opinion although based off what you're telling me it really sounds like a simple corneal abrasion.

A friend of mine has a benign growth in her eye that actually contains stem cells in it, in the location you describe. I concur that you should get it checked out by another dr.
