Is it acceptable to take payment of half of 8 week camp and only send kid for 4 weeks?

Relative just asked how much to write check out for and has no idea what cost of 4 vs. 8 weeks are.

This wasn't offerred to me, and has nothing to do with free time. (I don't have free time, I work full-time.)

fyi, IF YOU WORK FULL TIME, THN what would your child have done the other month?

#1: As I said, it wasn't me.

#2: I have a babysitter. I pay the babysitter the same amount no matter how many kids are home that day. I would pay the camp for each child that comes for each week. While the child would not be as stimulated, it would still have child care.

when you told him the price, did you just say the 8 weeks price, without specifying it's for 8 weeks?

This situation is hypothetical. My son does attend a backyard daycamp, but no one is writing me a check for it.

I assume either the parent doesn't work and is home with child. OR the child has other sibling that need child care and this child will stay with them or child will go to a cheaper alternative, if it's available.
I don't know - it's hypothetical and I'm not creative enough to go that far.

Why did the relative write the check? so the kids coudl go to camp, of course. and not the stipulated half session either.

I think we have to take it from the theoretical and make it practical or we can't answer.

Maybe you can calculate how much it would be for 16 weeks and send for the whole summer.
