These are a couple of screencaps (from Srugim) and I know it's a little hard to tell what she's wearing, but do you see that there's like a second poofy skirt hanging down further from under her pleated skirt? Does anyone know about this style?

Looks like she's wearing an apron on top of a black skirt.

Is that a chumash? Is she bringing it on a date?

Looks like one of those bubble skirts. Many girls wear them here but NEVER at duty lenght! Or kaki length. I have never heard either of those terms. What precisely do they mean? Also, I don't think it's a bubble skirt. In fact, I'm not sure it's a skirt at all. It strikes me as being more like a petticoat than an actual skirt that one could wear separately. Is that a chumash? Is she bringing it on a date? She's not a character on the show. They were just showing random people in Yerushalayim. |

How are they getting permission from all these nice frum people to put their image on TV, even in a street scene? http://forum.freeadvice.com/showthread.php?t=231144 QUOTE If you are really in a public place, like out in the street or something, then you can film people no matter how long they are on the screen. However, if you don't have release from them, you cannot use any images of them in a "commercial" manner to advertise or sell the film. So they could be in the film, but without a release, you couldn't use that clip to advertise, or as a trailer, or use stills from that clip on a poster or ad. Assuming that Israel has similar laws. |
