I love Beowulf. I haven't read it since high school though. (Thanks for the link Ahavati - I'll have to re-read it when I'm more awake - which means when I'm bored at work tomorrow!
 ) That reminds me to keep an eye out for a nice copy of this poem and The Canterbury Tales for my book collection.The movie was awesome. I loved the art and animation especially. I think Grendel and the Pale Man from Pan's Labyrinth are the freakiest creatures to come out of a movie since the Alien.
