Yesterday I had my first filling for absolutely decades. I have excellent teeth B"H.
However he gave me the following tip which is apparently now received dental wisdom. Don't rinse your mouth out after brushing your teeth; let the toothpaste's protective qualities (eg fluoride) bathe the teeth for as long as possible. If you have a potential filling coming up, (eg at your last checkup the dentist noticed a tiny spot of decay..) put a little toothpaste on your finger and dab it on the affected area; it could help protect it. -------------------- "Mommy, is this the house where we are allowed to swing on the chairs, or the house where we're not allowed to swing on the chairs?"
- My three year old granddaughter. There is being a real father, and there is being in the same room as your wife when she conceives. |
