For the past few days, my Firefox keeps on freezing. I know it's not a problem with the internet connection because Safari is working just fine. It might have to do with having too many tabs open. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem?

-------------------- My dog doesn't lick his own butt. He doesn't eat poop or step in it. I'll concede that he does smell other dogs' butts and he does lick "himself." I'd prefer it if he doesn't lick me right after that, so I employ a few minutes of buffer time between licking other things and me and I try to get him to drink some water too. - VLG

Aside from Psychodad's suggestion, which is the most likely culprit, have you added any new extensions recently?
-------------------- gawk; grep; unzip; touch; strip;

I don't even know what an extension is. Probably not. Try uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox. -------------------- gawk; grep; unzip; touch; strip;
