You can desecrate the organic nature and
sum of parts that can hardly be contained in our distance; pry my oyster-throat until the tissue vibrates the tongue submissive between the skin of my teeth, but the end result will not be pearl. You can dismantle the beavered-dam to my pool; separate truth, ancient as a turtle, from the sludge of desire, it will only reveal what you don't expect: a trebuchet of doubt snapping your feral organism wholly tame until you realize what it inherently knows: the conquest would simply make us small. ~ -------------------- |

here's one of my favorite revisions. it was previously named trebuchet. being this is a "frum" board, i was a bit worried about being honest and evaded the true nature of this post earlier. however, i have opted to be honest in my writings now because i think it's very important. but enough of that, onto what we've been discussing regarding the creative process.
capturing the raw emotion is very important for sealing the essence of the piece. it doesn't matter what it looks or sounds like at first. just capture the essence and then after you recover from the wave crashing comes the fun part. for a painter its matting and framing the million paintings s/he's painted in a fervor. for a writer, it's the millions of pages they've written, which need to be criticized and revised in order to polish the essence captured within them. without the essence all you have are words thrown onto paper. with the essence comes an image from the center of the clay or marble that you must learn to mold with your hands, much the same way you captured it with your heart. -------------------- |

I understand it now that you've changed the title. And I don't know if you meant it to be humorous, but I saw humor in it. -------------------- דעלך סני לחברך לא תעביד
