How are you connecting to the www, at what speed and how much do you pay for services a month?

Cable, deliciously fast and it's 29 a month. wow! That's what I'm trying to research. Where we are they're asking 70 bucks a month for cable!! Can I ask how fast your speed is? -------------------- "Life is a combination of magic and pasta." -Federico Fellini |

Check it here
Speeds can vary with the time of day (traffic). Also, if you use a wireless b router and aren't within close range, you could get a lower speed than you actually have. How are you connecting to the www, at what speed and how much do you pay for services a month? Cable. Approx. $40 a month, Time Warner. 1.5 u/3 d mbps officially, but actual speed is about half that most of the time. |

2.4 Mbit/sec
No idea what that means. I think I pay 43 shek a month, but I'm not sure. I know that I have to pay Bezeq 54/month for the line to be open, and then I think 43 on top of that for the actual internet, but I use Kavei Zahav for that, so I don't really know. I'm also on a special deal because it's through my brother in law who has a business, so there are a total of (I think) 9 connections under this name, so we're paying less than normal. -------------------- me (saying goodbye to my niece and nephew): Bye monkeys!
Nephew: Your hair looks like a banana. (after taking money out of a bank machine) nephew: Cool!! Can you do that again and give it to me? Me: I dunno, I'll discuss it with Zaidy and get back to you. |

Amount of time it takes server to respond to request. Roughly. It has less to do with the actual server and more with the LINE between you and the server. Even if you have the best and fastest server you can have high latency.... -------------------- [/flirting]
