My two sisters have birthdays coming up. I'm looking to spend $50 - $100 each. The thing is that I'm not sure what to get them.
Things that have come to mind: Jewelry Gift cards Beyond that, I'm coming up blank. Help!!! Ages: almost 17 and almost 19 (yeah I know we're spaced very nicely) -------------------- "Except for the most part what people seem to be pining for is licentiousness and debauchery and culinary experimentation, rather than wearing a srugie and a blue shirt at a simchah sitting next to a person of the opposite gender while eating fresh strawberries while checking your emails from the Sen. For B&N of course. No, I'm not their grandmother. A night on the town with Bez and Int? They're a little young for you guys. -------------------- "Except for the most part what people seem to be pining for is licentiousness and debauchery and culinary experimentation, rather than wearing a srugie and a blue shirt at a simchah sitting next to a person of the opposite gender while eating fresh strawberries while checking your emails from the Sen. Gift card to Sephora (I don't like to give gift certificates in general, though)
A silver bracelet/silver keychain from Tiffany A few pieces of fun costume jewelry that is so "in" right now, like from Laila Rowe (a little classier than Claire's) Agree about the knockoff bags. Great idea for that age. -------------------- |

A few pieces of fun costume jewelry that is so "in" right now, like from Laila Rowe (a little classier than Claire's) Good call, Laila Rowe has awesome stuff (and a heckuvalot classier than Claire's!). What are your two sisters into? Are they more like you or more like the school they go to (which I assume is the same you attended). Those Coach keychains are always in in BY and cost no more than $30 ea. Kipling bags and pocketbooks too. -------------------- "Life is a combination of magic and pasta." -Federico Fellini |

For $100 I think you could even get a nice little Coach wallet. (IMHO, they're soooo impractical. I'd rather a good, sensible one from say Patagonia than something trendy. ick. But that's me..and yes, I went to BY too). -------------------- "Life is a combination of magic and pasta." -Federico Fellini |

I doubt they'd be impressed with costume jewelry. If I get them jewelry it will be something decent.
If I go the gift card route I'll get them a card that would apply to the entire mall so they can choose. I'm leaning towards that at this point. -------------------- "Except for the most part what people seem to be pining for is licentiousness and debauchery and culinary experimentation, rather than wearing a srugie and a blue shirt at a simchah sitting next to a person of the opposite gender while eating fresh strawberries while checking your emails from the Sen.
