On Shabbos I was a guest for a meal, and the hosts also had an elderly woman whom I'd met once or twice before.

At some point during the meal she said that there were a lot of singles in the neighborhood, but that there had also been a great number of people married off, thanks to many people in the neighborhood who were working tirelessly to introduce singles.

Bez: "Who are these people?"
Old Lady: "People in the neighborhood?"
Bez: "Who are they?"
Old Lady: "Oh, there are many of them."
Bez: "Where would I find them?"
Old Lady: "They're all over the neighborhood."
Bez: "Name them."
Old Lady: "What?"
Bez: "I'm challenging you, because I've been here a year and no one's making an effort for me. So I want to know how I can find these people."
Old Lady: "Oh, I don't name names."

Other guests were amused at this exchange, and one said that she had single girlfriends.
