I'm guessing it wouldn't go over as well in the yiddishe velt. Very niche, and you really can't be if you're catering to a limited clientele. And honestly, where cheese is concerned, I think it would be cost-prohibitive to try to cater to the goyishe crowd as well (not to mention, most readily available kosher cheeses can't compete with their non-kosher varieties).

It wouldn't be in Bklyn obviously.. Remember Joseph's (UWS)? Non-Jewish people enjoyed it too. Immensely. This would happen to be kosher, but serve everyone. The cheese may not be ultra-easy to come by, but it's definitely out there. Even now when I'm in a restaurant and in the mood of mac n cheese..it's usually on the kids menu. One place wouldn't give it to me bec I wasn't a kid! We all looked at the waitress like she fell off the moon. I'm like charge me more if you want, it's not the price that made me choose it..it's the fact that it's good 'ol yummy baked macncheese (and no one makes it like they do).
