I broke it on "Orange" Juice... (actually "Mandarin Juice") which I used for Havdalah... my family minhag being not to use wine or grape juice...

Fast was out at 9.20 pm in London. 9.20 and ten seconds: I had a glass of water.
After Havdalah (on beer) we had home made butternut squash and carrot soup with croutons and grated cheese, toast, smoked salmon. Tea with fresh lime and ginger. One slice of bubka cake. That was all I had. DH ate his way through a lot more things; another bowl of soup, gefilte fish, herring, cheese, more toast, more this more that. He is now suffering for it. -------------------- "Mommy, is this the house where we are allowed to swing on the chairs, or the house where we're not allowed to swing on the chairs?"

Wine, don't you people make havdollah????? Yes, but I don't drink wine during the nine days. I'm not sefardi. -------------------- There are a number of ideas that literally form the backbone of Judaism.
