Sweet Poison, stay away from diet soda

I removed the post due to insufficient proof of the validity of the claim against aspartame consumption. (The source of this specific claim seems to be a spam message... I still think it is true though)

Did you REALLY have to look it up to figure that out????

Oh and yeah, nutrasweet really IS toxic, but then again so is sugar to many people so it really is a question of picking your poison......

I totally agree truelife. Didn't they do a study on cartons of soda left out in the desert for the troops somewhere..when they finally drank the cans, the aspartame made them quite sick. Artificial sweeteners thumbsdown.gif (you think it's for nothing the Sweet 'n Low packets have the uppercase-red-lettered-warning of 'known to cause cancer in laboratory animals'??)

diet coke was banned in the uk for the preservative it contains see following link. they are removing it there but not here.

agreed. raw sugar is the most natural sweetner to use.
