I have a mock kasha varnishkes. With frozen green beans or asparagus. Quite tasty.

Isn't it simply cooked bow ties, cooked kashah and fried onions?

That's what it usually is. I'm wondering what the secret is to those amazing dishes.

What does the green beans/asparagus substitute for?
