There is currently a lunar eclipse in Israel, go outside you will see that in place of a Tu B'Av (full) moon there is only half a moon, or maybe none at all. I would post pics but i can't get them uploaded to my computer right now. This follows a solar eclipse which took place on Tisha B'av.
Does this have any significance in judaism, or is it just a part of teva and we should look at the nifloes haborei and praise Hashem for making such a beautiful world for us? Shavua Tov -------------------- Sebabah "You know everybody is ignorant, only on different subjects." Will Rogers "It's amazing that the amount of news that happens in the world every day always just exactly fits the newspaper." Jerry Seinfeld "Typos are very important to all written form. It gives the reader something to look for so they aren't distracted by the total lack of content in your writing." Randy K. Milholland "Peace is not synonymous with truth" Shlomo Carlebach |

I couldn't get any good pics. You really need a proper telegraphic lense.
I did have a telascope and a strong pair of binoculars and it looks so amazing. What a shame I can't photograph it... -------------------- There are a number of ideas that literally form the backbone of Judaism. Without knowledge of these ideas, it is virtually impossible to know how Judaism came to be as it is today, or how it functions. Unfortunately, however, the more important the idea, the less the average person knows about it. - Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan, Handbook of Jewish Thought

It portends for evil as per Sukkah 29a. Woe is us. And now for the good news... it won't happen here again for 17 years! -------------------- There are a number of ideas that literally form the backbone of Judaism.
