The idea is to have toilet paper rolls with h.com thread texts printed out on them. We can start with the word association thread. Every sheet a word. -------------------- "Shake off all the fears and servile prejudices under which weak minds are servilely crouched. Fix reason firmly in her seat, and call to her tribunal every fact, every opinion. Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blindfolded fear." --Thomas Jefferson to Peter Carr, 1787

I like Peanut's avatar.

It is assur to use toilet paper (and all flammable materials) to wipe your behind because of the danger of witchcraft. (Shabbos 82a).

Stones are preferred. Ya know, I watched a history special the other week & the topic was....the inventions of toilets, bathroom "tissue", ect. ...never heard them mention wiping with stones...that could really hurt! -------------------- It's like classic h.com discussions: He who does what I don't do is an ignorant fanatic and he who doesn't do what I do is beneath my religious contempt. - meleh Once, many moons ago when morals still existed.... - TDP [Sephardic-Male] doesn't bother with facts - NY-LON |

I guess it's like reusable toilet paper. very efficient. what did the history special say, when did people start using tissues? i imagine paper wasn't widely available for a long time. in some parts of the middle east/central asia they still use their hand... -------------------- Kabel et ha-emet mi-mi she-omro.

(Shabbos 82a). actually its assur, to wipe using only toilet paper because it does not get you sufficiantly clean enough to daven acourding to the ben ish hai, also one is to wipe with left hand because one puts on tefillin using right hand and it is disrespectfull to the tefillin (Ben Ish hai ,first year,sêfer bërêshith, Pârâshath wayeze) -------------------- נ נח נחמ נחמן מאומן
