I loved using this program and used it daily. It creates fabulous effects on your photos. Since I switched to a mac, I haven't found a program that can do the work for me. Anyone know of something similar for a mac?

You can try using the auto effects and play with the filters if you want to do very basic editing, but honestly, getting a really good book on the subject and learning how to properly use filters and masks and other effects will result in the best photos. Deke McClelland puts out a very readable book on the subject that will give you knowledge from the ground up (it assumes complete and utter unfamiliarity with PS). -------------------- |

How do I get a nice, dreamy glow? Something to this effect:

Gaussian blur in Photoshop (see here for the basics).
iPhoto's 'edit' feature (when using the effects & adjust palettes in tandem) is definitely the easiest. -------------------- "Life is a combination of magic and pasta." -Federico Fellini |

I like his stuff (click the tute for 'Pro Retouch'). His other ones have better sound.

ETA: Do you have any tutorials online that can teach me some? There's no shortage of photoshop tuts out there. If I need something, I usually just google whatever effect I'm going for + "tutorial" rather than browse specific websites. -------------------- When a small man casts a large shadow, the sun is setting.
