I think asking "What qualifications does he have to be President" is a bad question, because first you'd need to agree on what those qualifications are, and then see how he measures up. Otherwise the person answering you would be shooting at an ever-moving target. Ok, I'll bite. What qualifications does a president have to have to do his job? |

Thanks.
Ok, I'll bite. What qualifications does a president have to have to do his job? "Biting" means actually listing some qualifications though, not just re-posting the question -------------------- Kabel et ha-emet mi-mi she-omro.

1)Be a politician. 2)Know how to lie. 3)Be corrupt. 4)Prefer supporting Arabs to supporting Israel. 5)Have an affair.
I think that pretty much covers it... -------------------- על כל אחד ואחת להוסיף בתורה ובמצוות כדי להכריע את עצמו ואת כל העולם כולו לכף זכות!

I'd prefer it if he doesn't lick me right after that, so I employ a few minutes of buffer time between licking other things and me and I try to get him to drink some water too. - VLG

Ok, I'll bite. What qualifications does a president have to have to do his job? Besides for those laid out by the Constitution, I'd like the president to have: - international and domestic political experience - international and domestic concerns - a modest wife and happy family - clear goals about what they plan to accomplish, the legacy they want to leave - a preference for honesty - religious belief system - sense of accountablity to G-d - advisors who are in some ways superior to the president - appreciation of diversity - experience dealing with crisis and disappointment -------------------- "If they would allow one dead soul to visit an assembly of philosophers, that would be the end of all their teachings."

I can quibble with the bolded items, I don't think they are relevant, but it's ok. Some more random items: - intellectual curiosity - interest in compromise - ability to present persuasive arguments on camera - experience managing organizations successfully -------------------- Kabel et ha-emet mi-mi she-omro.
