Anyone have any ideas? We have a car, so we're mobile.

Send the Rambam my love. Kevarim are out, as 50% of the family are Kohanim. -------------------- A Jew without good middos is simply incomplete...

Kivrei tzaddikim are okay even for kohanim. Just make sure it's only Rambam.
There's a little spit of beach by [I think] R' Akiva's kever- ie, across the road... It can't be seen from the street, and is relatively quiet and private. -------------------- על כל אחד ואחת להוסיף בתורה ובמצוות כדי להכריע את עצמו ואת כל העולם כולו לכף זכות!

It can't be seen from the street, and is relatively quiet and private. My husband doesn't visit kvarim. My concern about the beach (though I'm sure we will go) is it's not a beach like Netanya, or Ashdod, w/ sand, it's a very rocky beach, which isn't necessarily the greatest for smaller kids. -------------------- A Jew without good middos is simply incomplete...

I hope you find the spit I found- it wasn't too rocky. How? I heard that somewhere, don't know...Being that I'm not a kohen, I never had any reason to find out. -------------------- על כל אחד ואחת להוסיף בתורה ובמצוות כדי להכריע את עצמו ואת כל העולם כולו לכף זכות!

It's written somewhere, someday I'll look up the source...

you could go rafting. we went last year, but i heard that the waters are drying up. It was pretty shallow then so you could take the kids. We took the little kids go carting also somewhere in the are. Not sure where. (its not really go carting but tobogganing i think) I didn't go but they went to see some sort of a crocodile park, the kids loved that. Erm not so sure what else but there is a lot to do.

Nachal Yehudiya- There are easier and harder trails. People bring kids too. There's water so it's a cool hike.
Tzok Manara- enclosed cable cars (gondolas) to top of mountain. There used to be an alpine slide, bike riding and rock climbing, but heard there were katyusha landing there a few years ago and not sure what's still standing. Cider Hagalil- Interactive tour, cider tasting, kids can dress up in cider costumes and interact with large screens with characters. -------------------- "Life is a combination of magic and pasta." -Federico Fellini |

So why did you get upset? First we'll let you find this imaginary halacha, then we'll talk about it. The gemara in Nazir 33b might be a good place to start. -------------------- טוב להתלונן מחר מלעשות משהו היום
