PS- How do you get the title to not capitalise every word?

I was the youngest for the while so for me it was "achron achron chaviv"

I remember in yeshiva for a while everyone was saying "mah inyan shmitah"

"derech eretz kudmah l'torah" & "Talmud torah k'meged kulam" = you do the math.

"B'zchus nashim tzidkanios"

"Hachitzonius meoreres es hapnimius"

Those are definitely the 2 most overused quotes in Bais Yaakov.

The external awakens what's inside. This is basically used to try to enforce our understanding of what tznius is all about, etc.

The first time I heard this translation my mind went somewhere very untznius indeed.

What? Now I'm even more confused. Or is it sort of like ma shelo lishmah bah lishmah?

You mean: MiTOCH shelo lishmoh bah lishmah.
"Shake off all the fears and servile prejudices under which weak minds are servilely crouched. Fix reason firmly in her seat, and call to her tribunal every fact, every opinion. Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blindfolded fear." --Thomas Jefferson to Peter Carr, 1787

"How could you have a slogan like "freedom is slavery" when the concept of freedom has been abolished? The whole climate of thought will be different. In fact there will be no thought, as we understand it now. Orthodoxy means not thinking—not needing to think. Orthodoxy is unconsciousness."

Im Yirtzeh Hashem by you.
God, grant us the...
Serenity to accept things we cannot change,
Courage to change the things we can, and the
Wisdom to know the difference
Patience for the things that take time
Appreciation for all that we have, and
Tolerance for those with different struggles
Freedom to live beyond the limitations of our past ways, the
Ability to feel your love for us and our love for each other and the
Strength to get up and try again even when we feel it is hopeless.
