people have different tallisim for shabbos and during the week???

Can you take tzitzit from a tallit gadol and tie them on a tallit katan?
Can you take tzitzit from a tallit for shabbat and tie them on a tallit for during the week?

i am assuming you mean to untie the tzitzit strings and then put them on to a new beged? thats ok. but removing the whole tassel and fixing it on to a new one is 100% assur

It is one of the required shidduch gifts. (Silver ataros I think might be optional.)
