Ok, that case doesn't make sense to me, but you were saying it's nebby to wear a slip at all.
I assumed you were being serious and thought that one should get all skirts that require another layer, to be individually lined so as to alleviate the need for ever wearing a slip.

A slip is worn when you wear tights/hose.
If you're like a million years old. I just use static guard in the winter as needed. I can count the number of times I've ever worn a slip on one hand.
Why are those watches nebby?
I second the question. We are trying to hone our definition of nebby here-- and I believe those watches are just stupid-looking, not nebby.
