I don't know what cover options are.
Post #37 has the latest PDF.
a decision on the cover
a decision on the title
a BS"D on the front page
Essence Emeril's creole in poultry is cut off and I need to find it and fix the recipe.
I like Nechama's title, I think that's cute and fine
Skip the BS"D - we did enough OPS stuff with the cookbook

Yes, and if there was room I enlarged the photos but when converted to a pdf, the font size grows and then the pictures move from their original position.
what do you mean by messed up?
note that although I missed a few, generally I squished the pictures in order that recipes be locked into one page.

Yes, but it was proving difficult to edit an inserted jpg. The font does enlarge after being converted... why is that?
Right. And I moved a bunch of them. The point was to keep all recipes on one page.
I don't think it's a conversion to PDF issue. I think it's the same thing on the master Word document as well.
I think part of the problem was that the pictures were anchored in a certain position on the page, rather than being a jpg inserted within the text, which meant text wrapped around the picture to the right of the pictures, and then one would need to insert blank lines to get to under the pictures.

b'n the "final" version of the cookbook will be posted tomorrow as a Word document. Everyone can do with it as they please, although note that the content was with the consent of the contributors strictly on condition that it be used as a keepsake for members' kitchens and not for other purposes.
How can we bind it, like an official book, like you can do in hebrewbooks.com?
