Some Kabbalistic mystics provide intriguing and unusual descriptions of the Tower of Babel. According to Menachem Tsioni, an Italian Torah commentator of 15th century, the Tower was a functional flying craft, empowered by some powerful magic or technology; the device was originally intended for holy purposes, but was later misused in order to gain control over the whole world. Isaac of Acre wrote that the Tower builders had reached, or at least planned to reach the distance of 2,360,000,000 parsas or 9-10 billion kilometers above the Earth surface, which is about the radius of the Solar System, including most Trans-Neptunian objects. Similar accounts are also found in the writing of Jonathan Eybeschutz and the ancient book Brith Menuchah, according to which the builders of the Tower planned to equip it with some shield technology ("shielding wings") and powerful weapons. I am amazed whenever an adult doesn't know that the best way to get a point across is to say it.
If you don't like what someone is doing, tell them. They don't have to listen to you, but at least you absolve yourself from your own annoyance. I don't understand at what point in your social development you never picked up on this, but as an adult, you never are obligated to play infantile games where you say things through people, or speak in code.
So first, did you tell them? If so then........
If they didn't respond, then learn to live with it. As Marcus Aurelius would say "endure freedom of speech.........[and]...Do not waste the remainder of your life in thoughts about others."

From what I've seen, agenda pushing doesn't really impress his wife.
Gabbe, I think you're not devoting enough to your agenda. You're holding back; retaining some of your own self. Don't push the agenda, let the agenda push you.
