In my life I B"H had many people who helped me get to where I am today. People who are loving and self-less, people who understand teenagers, rebellious or otherwise.
Let's comply a list right here of people teenagers could talk to and develop a relationship with. Let's not bother asking permission and let's not get stuck in red tape. Know of someone in a certain town or area that you can vouch for? Go ahead and post their contact information. You may be saving lives!
I'll start. Rabbi Shmuel Gluck is Director of Areivim. They are based in Monsey but Rabbi Gluck welcomes your emails from anywhere (I hope). Rabbi Gluck helps boys and girls in any way possible. Yeshiva/Camp/Seminary placements, mentoring, "parental negotiation," and many other ways of helping and just being there.
Call Areivim at 845-371-2760 or email areivim@juno.com.

In Lakewood there's the Malamud family. They have open shabbos meals for guys (I'm not sure if they have 'girls shabbos'). Izzy and Devorah are just great people to talk to. Go ahead and drop in to their store and invite yourself for a meal. Verizon Wireless, 112 Clifton Ave. (732) 364-1200.
(Make sure to see their 'cards.')
I will turn this into a comprehensive network, if you will, and permanently post it on my site.

(Mrs.) _____ _____ is the person to call. (###) ###-#### Go on, chap a scmooze. Get it off your chest and get help with these 'small' things that bother you.
I can vouch for her and so could a few other people on Hashkafah.
There's also a Ms. Rosenberg but I don't know her number or much about her, she was profiled in Mishpacha magazine a while ago. If you do, please share.

Is that what all nice people are on this world for? I would think there would be some nice people to help teenagers, some nice people to help with shidduchim, and the few nice people that are left will be saving whales! Turns out I was all wrong.

This thread may have saved a life! At least I know that she contacted one of the people listed in this thread. People, PLEASE put up names. Spend a few minutes now doing that and you may be saving a life some time down the road!
DJ, did you get that list from Ace?
