Members whose opinions you dont agree with.

Some of our new members may not be familiar with our own ideals and philosophies and it is important to remember that when reading their posts. The one mistake that we cannot make in these forums is to turn people off or away from Yiddishkeit.
If someone posts something that you do not necessarily agree with, perhaps a kind word or suggestion may ease the new member into our community. Mocking or YELLING AND SCREAMING at the uninformed will definitely not help.
So, please do your part in keeping this a vibrant, positive community where people of all types of beliefs can debated with in a civil manner.
One last note, there will be times when a malicious poster will try to upset us by writing things that s/he knows we will find offensive. Please do not feed the frenzy by giving attention to these types of posts. The best thing to do is ignore them and notify the Mods/Admins who will take the necessary steps to eliminate this disruptive behavior.
Thanks so much for doing your part to keep Hashkafah.com a fun, safe and SHTARK! place to chill at when online.
