Make your own crust for extra points. Here's a kind of fussy recipe from a dependably good food blog. Here's a whole wheat recipe from a great site, with another fussy-type recipe in the comments.
Sauce, cheese and toppings of your choice. Get creative - dessert pizza! Chicago-style deep-dish pan pizza. Pissaladiere (no sauce, caramelized onions, anchovies and black olives). Meat pizza with soy cheese. Tiny appetizer-style pizzas. Calzones.
Whatever you make, it's going to be tastier, healthier and cheaper than take-out pizza.

Meatza! Do it! Someone (TDP?) once posted a syrian-style recipe for some type of ground meat on flatbread that sounded super good.Rach, great choice...can't wait to see what people come up with.
To clarify, is cheese required? I'm debating a fleishige pizza...

Wow, you guys are so technical! Yeah, what Shuli said. Toppings on a base. From the way she worded the challenge, it sounds like it must just resemble pizza in some form, so must include some sort of base, as well as toppings. So you could make a tortilla pizza with a wrap, cheese, and veggies, but you couldn't roll it up, because that'd make it unpizza-like. But yeah, the wording's a little confusing.

It has a base dough/crust, a "sauce" and toppings, so I hope it's appropriate.

Ingredients
1 (18 ounce) package refrigerated sugar cookie dough
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 medium firm bananas. sliced
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 (20 ounce) can pineapple chunks, drained
1 pint fresh strawberries, halved
2 kiwifruit, peeled and sliced
1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained
1/3 cup orange marmalade
1 tablespoon water
Directions
On a greased 14-in. pizza pan, press cookie dough into a 12-in. circle. Bake at 375 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely on a wire rack.
In a small mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Spread over crust. Toss bananas with lemon juice. Arrange the pineapple, strawberries, bananas, kiwi and oranges over cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Combine marmalade and water; drizzle over fruit.
So I skipped her fruits, and just used whatever I had, which were bananas, strawberries, blackberries and blueberries. It's delicious.
