I'm thinking of spending some months in Jerusalem, in order to lern Hebrew and study the Torah.

Some time ago I read about a woman who found (a cheap) accommodation in a
convent (woman monastery, I guess Catholic or Orthodox) together with other women from all over the world.
(She converted to Judaism after a year, at least she spent about two years there.)

Do you have any information about this convent-accommodation?
Or other cheap (and undemanding group-bed) accommodations?

Thank you very much :)

I would like to stay there, but I'm not jewish (sorry, I forgot to mention), they make very few exceptions, but not for long term stays, understandably...
