I think education should be involved in socioemotional development as much as in cognitive development. When children feel good about themselves, they are more likely to want to learn, explore, share and socialize with others, and when they do so they feel better about themselves. Whether education actually succeeds in fostering this lofty process--or inhibiting it--is another question.what do you think? spinoff of the "jews are supersmart thread"
