From what I know the End times for Judaism is the coming of Messiah, and a time of worldwide peace. Is this the most common view? Are there even any other views?

imo the basic reason time hasn't ended yet is because man has invented round clocks. the hands in the clock just go round and round, and as it is a round circle, there is no end to it. it doesn't help that misguided people keep replacing batteries. end of time will come when people switch to linear clocks, speedily in our days.

How do you explain digital clocks then, moshi? HOW???

they are a variation on the round clocks. time does not end on a digital clock. occasionally it resets and starts blinking, but it never ends. as i said before, humanity needs linear clocks.

Don't the blinking lights mean that the messiah is coming? or maybe i just need to reset the modem and......ah never mind. fixed it!

So what you're saying is that time continually resets itself and as a result, we will never reach an end to time as it will constantly be beginning anew?

I'm afraid so. Until a linear clock replaces the last non-linear model on Earth.

I know you guys are joking but seriously, time is an illusory human concept. It has no relevance to HKB"H Who is beyond time completely, and presumably our holy ancestors in Gan Eden are now beyond our crude concept of time as well. Of course, Chasidus explains that there is only this one yearly cycle, that when we celebrate Pesach it's as if we really are being freed from slavery right then and there, so Moshi's comment about round clocks is actually accurate from a Kabalistic perspective.

As to the OP, yes, Moshiach (the Messiah) will achieve total world peace and togetherness, immediately or shortly after his revealing himself and in his lifetime. This is a big reason why we think your guy is something of a joke. The past two millennia have not exactly been peaceful...

So will Messiah have to come and crush his enemies in order to establish his reign? And what happens after he establishes worldwide peace?

Not his enemies, Gods enemies...

Then we have peace and everyone will recognize the One true god of the Jewish people, and the world at large. Its not very clear what happens after that.

I was looking at some linear clocks... i think its hopeless :( they all seem to start again when they hit the last number... I think we are stuck here for a long time...

I see it as closure. Like when Noah closed the doors on the Ark. I wonder how it felt to Noah closing those doors, did he have friends that he had to close the door on.

Wouldn't the enemies of G-d also be the Messiah's enemies as well?
Also, it is refreshing that there is not a bunch of end time scenarios. The Protestants drive me nuts with that stuff.

Well, yeah. But he can squash his personal enemies... Like the neighbor who keeps blocking his driveway...
Oh, we have plenty of "End of Days" scenarios, but no one has a very clear picture of what is the correct one...

I can try to make one up too if you like

I figure he will crush what is called the Catholics first and then on down to every last sect and denomination of that religion.

Just my opinion

P.S. And also the ones that call themselves Orthodox that argue with the ones that call themselves Catholic as to who was the first to start their religion.

Rebbe Nachman Z"L says that there won't be any military aspect to Moshiach, that it will be a spiritual crushing of opposition. That is, when he comes, it will be so clear to everybody how flawed their bogus religions are in light of his coming and beginning to fulfill the prophecies.
