Can you provide a pic of the pepita hosen? I asked someone they confirmed halbe hosen.Yes. Although maybe he means pepitah hoizen (the black and white mini-houndstooth check)

They look just like the regular halbe hoisen, but they are in a mini-houndstooth black-and-white print, called "pepitah" (in Hungarian, I think). From afar, they look grey.
