My regular is chicken and potatoes but I see you have that covered :)

This may help:

God, grant us the...
Serenity to accept things we cannot change,
Courage to change the things we can, and the
Wisdom to know the difference
Patience for the things that take time
Appreciation for all that we have, and
Tolerance for those with different struggles
Freedom to live beyond the limitations of our past ways, the
Ability to feel your love for us and our love for each other and the
Strength to get up and try again even when we feel it is hopeless.

Cut up whatever veggies you want. I tend to potato, sweet potato, carrots, squash, sometimes I add chick peas.

Add about a cup of tomato paste

Add water to cover and stir

Sit chicken on top (I use a whole bird)

Sprinkle with garlic (and unless you are allergic like me) paprika

Cook unroll cooked (works great for Shabbat lunch)

If you want for added flavor you can stick an onion with a slice half way through in the cavity of the bird. Truthfully thou I have never really found the need.

I'm having trouble navigating this site for some reason - is there a way to see a list of all the slow cooker recipes that she made and choose from there? I can't seem to find one.

I think crock pot chicken might suit me at my stage, I need my food soft. I might try the chicken with applesauce...sounds delicious.

I made my chicken soup using my same basic recipe with chicken, veggies spices and water in a crockpot once and it came out yummy.
