Do you bother with tzitzit? Wear a baseball cap, or forego a head covering? Etc.

Women, what, if anything do you wear differently?

I have never been to a gym in my life. However, that's gonna change. SOON.

I'm going to go to an all-women's gym and I'll wear typical workout clothes and I will not cover my hair. The windows are almost entirely covered with huge posters, and only someone who walks right up to the windows and peers in can see.

Edit. I was afraid that it would give away my anonymity.

Whats typical? Is it sweats, a tracksuit, or sports bras, and compression shorts?

At the NYSC, I once saw a couple of chassidsiche (I would say Yoelies, but ...) men in the gym with their trainer while wearing their suits, vests, and tzizis. I usually just see the frum men wearing regular exercise clothes with a yarmulka. If they don't wear a yamulke, I may not know if they are Jewish or not.

I wear regular exercise clothes, thanks for asking. And I have blue hair.

Isn't there some opinion that the beged with tzitzit should be used to soak up sweat? Anyways, baseball cap, shorts, t-shirt, no tzitzit.

So, am I the only guy that wears a do-rag on my head instead of a kippa at the gym?

I wore a do-rag a few times but couldn't hack it. I have a bunch of them just sitting around if anyone wants them.

You wear this to the gym?

Yup. Better vision, and way more comfy.

I work out in a mixed gym. I wear pants with a skirt on top, a baseball (3/4 sleeve t-shirt), and a tichel. There are plenty of religious women who work out and cover their hair in the gym. There are many who would consider themselves very religious, but at the gym don't cover their hair. I don't judge and don't really care, but this always confused me. If you believe that it is an obligation to cover your hair, why would you think that working out changes that?

pants, t-shirt, no snood - women's only gym.

i've seen women working out and zumba-ing in sheitels...

Because they consider it like swimming or bathing.
