If a man stands in the middle of the forest speaking and there is no woman around to hear him, is he still wrong?

However, it is surrounded by crowded places where nothing interesting happens. some parts of them are important, like the airports. But we could do without all that other stuff.
I'm sure the residents could be put to some use. They could be retrained and taught to speak American, so they don't embarrass themselves when asking for a soda and receiving sparkling water, or honking their horns all the time.

Well New York is only one of the most important business centers in the world. If all the people in New York vanished one day I can guarantee there would be some serious problems.

On the plus side the amount of arrogance in America would decrease by at least 20% immediately.

It takes time to get dressed properly, one doesn't want to show up in a uniform that isn't as clean as can be.

That percentage seems a little low.

Well Long Island should be an honorary extension of Jersey, but other than that yes.Because we all know that NY girls are intelligent, deep and sophisticated beyond their years....
Being serious for a moment though, there's a reason these stereotypes exist. I deal with customers all around the country and it's amazing how often I can tell where they're from as soon as they open their mouth - and it's not necessarily because of an accent as much as their attitude and how they present themselves.
